The horse responds.
So do you.
Equine-assisted psychotherapy and horse experiences at the foot of the Blue Ridge.
No experience needed
You do not need to know anything about horses
Most people who come here never have. All our work is on the ground. There is no riding, and nothing to get right. The horse simply responds to what is real in you, and that response is where the work begins.

WHY HERE
A real place, and people trained to hold it
Nearly 100 acres in Front Royal, Virginia. A herd that lives here and knows this ground. Sessions are led by a licensed therapist alongside a certified Equine Specialist. We are trained in the EAGALA and Natural Lifemanship models.

WAYS TO WORK WITH US
Two ways in

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Mental health treatment with horses, led by a licensed therapist. For trauma, anxiety, grief, or a season that has become hard to carry alone.

Horse Experiences and Equine-Assisted Learning
Guided time with our herd for growth, confidence, and connection. For individuals, families, and groups. This is not therapy, and no diagnosis is involved.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What actually happens
Every session is outdoors, on the ground, with the horses. No riding,
no performing. Because it is all groundwork, age, injury, mobility, and
disability are not barriers here. If you can be present with a horse,
you can do this.
How to begin:
1
Send us a note through a short contact form.
2
We follow up to talk through what you are looking for.
3
We send a short intake and set your first session.
Riding lessons: We occasionally accept students into our membership program,
based on availability and the student's goals. Email us to inquire.
Stay in touch
Occasional notes from the farm, and word when new sessions open.

Discover the Connection Between People and Horses
At Fáilte Stables, we see something happen between people and horses every day. It is quiet, and it is real, and it reaches people in ways words often cannot. All of our work is on the ground, with no riding and no experience needed, so you are welcome to experience it for yourself, exactly as you are.
You can come for equine-assisted psychotherapy in the EAGALA model, or simply for time with the herd in an equine-assisted learning experience. Whichever brings you here, the pace is unhurried and the welcome is the same.
We shape each visit around the person in front of us. Reach out with any questions, and we will help you find whether this is a good fit.
